Lintzen uses a round basic ring which she assembles into new fields and patterns that are melted on the glass skin. Each series of Tube Field challenges the spectator to stir oneself to see the play of colourful facets. The radial and frontal image is variable. It is as if Lintzen wants to encourage the spectators into movement allowing them to gain multiple impressions. ‘It is like a three-dimensional painting with a tactile skin that wants to be both looked at and felt.’
